For tax matters (IRS, IMI, debts, passwords, appointments) use the official channels: the Portal das Finanças, the e-balcão or the telephone helpline (Centro de Atendimento Telefónico), 217 206 707, weekdays 09:00–19:00. The helpline answers in Portuguese; we cannot answer tax questions.
